Airbrush Makeup Application & Mineral Makeup Appicaltion

Mineral:
What it is: Several minerals are treated through various oxidizing processes to create different shades, and then crushed together to form fine powders that can be applied to the face and used as makeup.
How it’s used: Mineral makeup is usually applied with a brush, although it can be used with a sponge for thicker and more precise applications. Some lines offer different steps to wearing their mineral makeup, including primers that are applied to the face before the foundation to provide holding power, create an even porosity on the skins surface, and a smoother, more matte finish all around.

Mineral makeup is another makeup that has taken the nation by storm over the past few years. With science and research looking into the effect we have had on our planet over the past hundreds of thousands of years, we are starting to become more aware of our environment, and therefore, more aware of our own health and well being. The organic industry has soared to new heights, as we search to become a healthier nation filled with natural living options as opposed to chemically enhanced lifestyles. Makeup is no exception. When the chemicals that were used to manufacture makeup were exploited in a whirlwind of propaganda, mineral makeup became popular and the chemicals in our every day makeup caught some flack for why our skin is too dry, too oily, too acne, too wrinkled, etc. Using mineral makeup creates a feeling of good health, both on the inside and out.

Mineral makeup has minimal ingredients to assure that no unnecessary chemicals are being added to their already sensitive skin. It creates a minimal reaction to any treatments they may be under going.  Its natural composition includes minerals with reflective properties, creating an almost pearly finish.

The best results I found that works for various types of skin is using the combination of both airbrush and mineral makeup application.  Hydrated natural airbrushed look, which leaves your skin looking dramatically flawless.

Airbrush:
Airbrush Makeup is a lightweight yet full coverage makeup. The foundation used for airbrush is a very thin micronized liquid that is spray through a tiny gun in a mist form to create a flawless complexion on the skin. This Makeup medium gives an even tone to the skin while still feeling light and soft. Airbrush Makeup looks like skin but with a more even color and smoother finish.

Whether you cry or sweat airbrush makeup will stay in place. By simply taking a tissue and blotting the wet area, the wetness will be lifted and the makeup will stay in place. In the heat of the summer airbrush makeup will stay looking the same as it did when it was applied all day long. Oily and shiny skin is combated and you will have a matte smooth finish all day long without touch ups and powdering all day long.

Celebrities use airbrush makeup for red carpet events because it photographs well AND still looks good in person. This is the ideal compromise for brides as well because they want their makeup to look perfect in pictures while still looking like themselves and without a ton of makeup caked on in person.

Many colors and skin tones are mixed in the machine to create your exact skin tone match. Bronzer or shimmer can be added to the formula for a More tan or dewy finish as well. Airbrush foundation is good for all skin types including acne, oily, dry, mature, and young skin.

Airbrush Foundation is ALSO ideal for tattoo coverage. An alcohol based formula is used in skin tone colors to cover the tattoo and be rub and smudge proof. This technique is the best way for covering tattoos to a point where you cannot see them at all. Other methods of tattoo coverage can look like makeup and be thick and rub off on clothing. The alcohol based airbrush tattoo cover lasts all day and looks like skin and is impenetrable.
